Applications are now open for three key investment streams for whānau in Te Waipounamu, Rakiura and Rēkohu/Wharekauri/Chatham Islands. Tūātea, Tai Neke, Tai Ora and Kōanga Kai are open from today, Monday, December 2, 2024 and close on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Tūātea is our next-generation Wave social investment fund, designed to provide targeted assistance for those striving to create a thriving business, ensuring their passion and determination are met with the tools needed to succeed.
This fund targets kaupapa that help whānau understand the importance of nurturing all aspects of their hauora, as well as building a connection to te ao Māori and to their hapori.
Supports whānau rangatiratanga by building healthy and sustainable kai production practices, influenced by the traditions and mātauranga of our tīpuna.
All three funds open on Monday, December 2, 2024 and close on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
As well as our roadshows and workshops, this time around we are also offering 1:1 support.
We have kaimahi dedicated to different rohe and areas of expertise to support in answering any pātai you may have or provide guidance when completing your application.

We are back on the road in a town near you in January to assist whānau with their applications and answer any pātai you would like to ask in person.
The roadshow is especially handy if you would like support developing a business plan, a budget, a pakihi plan, or an implementation plan.
